Local
Celebrating the heart of our region — its people, its stories, its landscapes.
Local is a new group exhibition at Liminal Gallery honouring the places, memories and everyday magic that shape Geelong and the surrounding region. From beaches and bush tracks to laneways, small businesses, architecture, community hubs and the people who give our home its pulse, Local invites artists to reflect on what this region means to them.
Open to all mediums, this summery exhibition celebrates the ever-evolving character of the place we’re fortunate to call home. Works may be new or previously created — what matters is the connection to place, and the unique perspective each artist brings.
Local also marks Liminal’s first extended exhibition, giving artists greater visibility and value through a longer exhibition period.
A vibrant tribute to the heart of our region — its people, its stories, its landscapes.
